Via Dolorosa – the route in Jerusalem from Pontius Pilate’s house where Jesus was sentenced to death to Golgotha where he was crucified. It’s marked by fourteen Stations of the Cros:)s. Every Friday, and especially on Good Friday, people walk the Via Dolorosa (usually led by Franciscans)

Visitation of Mary – the name given to the episode in Mary’s life when she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth to share the news that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
